After a fun long weekend of being sick about every day of it, I’m back and ready for a new site to waste time at!

Want to see what your site looked like 10 years ago or maybe  just 5 years ago?  How about before the last overhaul in 2007?  The Internet Archive keeps track of that stuff…sort of (why is there always a caveat!! ).   It doesn’t necessarily have every page and graphics may be missing but you can at least get a feel for what your site, or another, looked like.  Another nice use is to see what your domain, or prospective domain, may have been in a prior life with a different owner.  You can also sign up and start having your site show up and maintain your archive.

Just pop over to the the Internet Archive and type in the site you’d like to see come back (again, sort of) from the dead…and not the living dead like the last entry.

This game can be found at a lot of sites but I liked the fact that this particular one is also hosted at a site dedicated to Zombie games.  See how far you can get killing the ghouls as the return to the living in De-animator!  Check out the other content as well if you’re into the undead!

A lot of people know that one of the original places to watch movies trailers is Apple’s own website but there are those that still don’t know of this handy resource. I have used this for a long time, before there were TV shows dedicated to showing only trailers (Nothing But Trailers on HDNet). Regardless, it’s a great site to jump around to check out movies you may be interested in seeing!

I listen to a little of everything including country.  Mike submitted something to The Sounds of Christmas last year and I added a new track this year.  I’m so amazed by his vocals that I thought I’d make him the site of the day.

While doing more searches for Christmas related material, I came across the home of the North Pole!  There’s lots to do at the site for parents, kids and teachers.  The site has stories that children can read or have read to them.  You can visit different parts of Santa’s entire village such as The Workshop, Santa’s Den, Toy Shop, Mail Room (where you can write to Santa), Clubhouse,  Reindeer Barn, Kitchen, Elf Pal Academy and Weather Station.

So while you’re trying to wrap presents this year, send the kids over to the North Pole to keep them busy for a while.
