A lot of people know that one of the original places to watch movies trailers is Apple‘s own website but there are those that still don’t know of this handy resource. I have used this for a long time, before there were TV shows dedicated to showing only trailers (Nothing But Trailers on HDNet). Regardless, it’s a great site to jump around to check out movies you may be interested in seeing!

Design a plane and blitz your friends is the intro at Paper Pilot: Battle of the Air.  Choose the paper weight, elevator angle and throw in winglets on your square plane design and set to the skies!  Do some practice runs with your plane and once you’re happy you can send out a challenge to 5 friends.  The only thing that isn’t very exciting is the fact that it’s only one round and one throw in the challenge mode.  I’d like to either see best of 3 throws or maybe a total score of 3 throws.  Regardless, it’s something to waste time on.

This isn’t an entry you can do much with but I’ve been *trying* to put sites up that are related to Christmas on Saturdays, so here’s my entry for today from YouTube, lights to Trans-siberian Orchestra’s Wizards in Winter.

Obama has set up a site at Change.gov to track what’s happening as he builds his administration. Whether you’re happy or not, you can track if it looks like he’s doing what’s best for the country or you as an individual.

xFire is a gaming Instant Messenger that allows you to communicate while in a game with friends but it’s much more than that. xFire offers a full “instant” gamers solution to gaming time tracking, blogging, screenshots and video capture.

You can maintain your own blog however you may like. It’s not a full featured blog like WordPress but if your world revolves around gaming it’s sufficient or you can link to your external blog.

The game time tracking allows you to track how much time you play in every game that is supported by xFire (which is just about all mainstream games as well as many games dating back over the past decade).

Screenshots allow you to capture screenshots while playing and when you exit or minimize the game you have the option to upload them with a caption or delete them. Once uploaded you can browse your online library.

Capturing video is a more recent update but it will allow you to capture in-game videos and upload them after exiting or minimizing the game. One of the other features that’s still in beta is doing “Live” broadcasting of your in-game expreience.

There are options to adjust privacy as you see fit. Go check it out or download the client!

Getting back on track after some neglect!
