Internet Archive: Wayback MachinePosted by: JT in Web, Web Sites, tags: Archive, Wayback Machine, Web Sites
After a fun long weekend of being sick about every day of it, I’m back and ready for a new site to waste time at! Want to see what your site looked like 10 years ago or maybe just 5 years ago? How about before the last overhaul in 2007? The Internet Archive keeps track of that stuff…sort of (why is there always a caveat!! Just pop over to the the Internet Archive and type in the site you’d like to see come back (again, sort of) from the dead…and not the living dead like the last entry.

Wallpaper, lots of Wallpaper!Posted by: JT in Images, Web Sites, tags: Fullscreen, Images, Wallpaper, Web Sites, Widescreen
I’ve been using this site for a while as a source of getting wallpaper. It’s fairly easy to navigate, search and has lots of wallpaper in Widescreen (16×10), Fullscreen (4×3), Fullscreen (5×4), HDTV (16×9), Dual Monitors and Mobile. So not only are there a lot of offerings, they’re in a lot of formats for whatever you may need. Another nice attribute of the site is advertising or lack of… The site doesn’t open dozens of pop-ups while navigating. A huge plus for these kind of sites that are more interested in flooding users with ads than their content. Take a look at InterfaceLIFT and start building your wallpaper collection! Here’s a sample that I grabbed for autumn: |
